Chris Cozad Chris Cozad
Chris Cozad has served on the City of Columbus Community
Relations Commission since 2004. She also serves as the
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trandgender (LGBT) community
liaison to Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman.
Cozad sits on the Board of Trustees of the Buckeye Region
Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO) having served in that
capacity since the foundation of the organization in 1996.
Additionally she served as President of that Board from 1996
through 2007.. BRAVO is an organization working on issues
of violence in the LGBT communities including hate crimes,
domestic violence and sexual assault. Cozad is known
nationally for her expertise in violence as it effect the
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender communities. Cozad
has served at the Co-Chair of the National Coalition of
Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP) for 3 years.
Cozad is the President of Alternative Auto Care, an
independent auto repair facility, serving Columbus since
1983 and is an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician. In 2002 Cozad
joined the faculty of Columbus State Community College as an
adjunct instructor of Automotive Technology.
