Equal Opportunity Specialist and Education Coordinator

Neal Semel has been with the Community Relations Commission serving as Equal Opportunity Specialist and Education Coordinator since 1996. Neal has facilitated Diversity and Conflict Resolution Training throughout the City of Columbus. Additionally, Neal has worked with Schools, Colleges, Businesses, Governmental Agencies and Community Groups throughout Central Ohio. Neal has certifications in Mediation and is a certified diversity trainer with the Ohio Peace Offices Training Academy, a faculty member of the Clifton Talbert Community Building Institute, and has been an instructor at the Ohio State University Graduate School of Public Policy and Management. Prior to joining the CRC, Neal has worked in Landscaping, Construction, Mental Health, Food Service, Child Assault Prevention, and as a professional drummer.
